Terms of service
These terms explain the agreement between CodeCasa Studios Ltd and each business using Casa Commerce. Casa Commerce is intended for business use.
Last updated: 12 July 2026
1. About Casa
Powered by Casa and Casa Commerce are operated by CodeCasa Studios Ltd. Casa provides tools for businesses to build an online store, manage products and orders, connect domains, arrange postage, and take payments through supported payment services. In these terms, Casa, we, and us refer to CodeCasa Studios Ltd.
2. Your account and store
You must provide accurate information, protect your login details, and be authorised to act for the business using the account. Each store subscription belongs to the account that created it. You are responsible for activity performed through your account and should contact support promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
3. Subscription and charges
Each store is billed separately. The first month costs £1 and the subscription then renews at £9.99 per month until cancelled. Any applicable tax or additional charge will be shown before payment. You authorise our billing provider to charge the saved payment method on each renewal date.
You can cancel from the store billing page. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid billing period. Charges already paid are non-refundable except where required by law or where Casa expressly agrees otherwise.
4. Customer payments
Payment activation is subject to identity, business, risk, and other checks performed by our payment partners. Casa Payments charges a 1% platform fee on each successful customer order. Stripe processing fees are charged separately. The fees applicable to a transaction are shown in the merchant dashboard or payment agreement.
An order is not confirmed until Casa Payments reports a successful payment. Payout timing, reserves, disputes, chargebacks, refunds, and account restrictions may also be governed by the payment provider's terms. Merchants remain responsible for fulfilling orders and dealing fairly with their customers.
5. Domains and postage
Domain registrations and postage labels are optional purchases and are charged separately. The total price is shown before payment. Domain availability is not guaranteed until registration completes, and registrations are also subject to registry rules. Shipping services are subject to the selected carrier's restrictions, service levels, and claims process.
6. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- the products, descriptions, prices, images, and claims you publish;
- complying with consumer, ecommerce, tax, privacy, and product laws;
- setting accurate delivery, returns, refund, and contact information;
- fulfilling orders and responding to customers and disputes; and
- ensuring your content does not infringe another person's rights.
You must not use Casa for unlawful, fraudulent, misleading, harmful, or prohibited products or activity.
7. Content and AI assistance
You retain ownership of content you upload and give Casa permission to host, process, and display it as needed to provide the service. AI-generated copy and design suggestions are starting points. You are responsible for reviewing and approving them before publication, including checking their accuracy and legal suitability.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep Casa reliable, but uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed. We may maintain, improve, replace, or discontinue features. Where a material change adversely affects the core paid service, we will provide reasonable notice when practical.
9. Suspension and termination
We may restrict or suspend a store where required by law, a payment or infrastructure provider, a security risk, overdue charges, or a serious breach of these terms. We will explain the reason where we are legally and operationally able to do so.
10. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, Casa is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost sales, or losses caused by merchant content, customer disputes, carriers, registries, payment providers, or events outside our reasonable control.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights that apply to you.
